Description
A modern, wood slide gate with cedar slats that mach the winged fences. This project presented us with a huge challenge to create a sliding gate on a dramatically sloped driveway with little space to work with alongside the alley. For the gate to open despite the slope we installed a heavy duty gate operator, one more powerful than what is normally used for a similar gate on a flat surface. We also welded a stop onto the end of the track to keep the gate from sliding beyond the appropriate limit. With some nifty design and excellent collaboration with contractors, we made everything fit just perfect.
